Many of us are resorting to "oldschool" methods of saving

A Post Office poll found 21% are using money-saving cash hacks, including sticking change in a piggy bank or bottle.

And of those, 46% have saved between £50 and £100 a month.

Post Office data also revealed there has been a 15% rise in cash withdrawn from ATMs over the past year, jumping from £80billion to more than £90bn.
