His 2021 Clarence House Chase at Ascot was supported by a pair of Grade Two successes over hurdles and fences.

First Flow signed off with a 12th career triumph at Lingfield's Winter Million meeting on January 21.

"I've got no races to run him in so I think it's a good time to stop," said Gloucestershire handler Bailey.

"He was very tired after carrying top weight to win last time. It has been an interesting journey, he was a unique horse and a complete star."

BROADWAY BOY, trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies (right), will take on Willie Mullins-trained favourite Fact To File at the Cheltenham Festival.
