Cloudastructure Acquires Visionful to Expand Video Surveillance Platform.

Florida, US-based cloud video surveillance provider Cloudastructure has agreed to purchase smart parking company Visionful to further development of a comprehensive smart cities platform, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition adds a new license plate recognition and analytic component to Cloudastructure's expanding cloud-based video surveillance platform.
The solution provides a real-time dashboard of parking usage based on license plate recognition and database mapping. Using this dashboard, parking managers can bill more accurately for use as well as determine future parking needs.
