The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Whereas Her Majesty was pleased to make the Colonial Civil Aviation (Application of Act) Order, 1952(a), which Order, as amended by the Colonial Civil Aviation (Application of Act) (Amendment) Order, 1953(b), and the Colonial Civil Aviation (Application of Act) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1953(c), is hereinafter referred to as "the principal Order":

And Whereas it is expedient to amend the principal Order in the manner hereinafter appearing:

Now, therefore, Her Majesty, by virtue and in exercise of the powers in that behalf by the Civil Aviation Act, 1949(d), or otherwise in Her Majesty vested, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered as follows:—

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Colonial Civil Aviation (Application of Act) (Amendment) Order, 1954,

(2) This Order and the principal Order may be cited together as the Colonial Civil Aviation (Application of Act) Orders, 1952 to 1954.

(3) This Order shall come into operation on the first day of July, 1954.

Revocation of principal Order in its application to Northern Rhodesia and Nyasaland

2. The principal Order in its application to Northern Rhodesia and Nyasaland is hereby revoked, and in Schedule II the words "Northern Rhodesia" and "Nyasaland Protectorate" shall be omitted.
