Cozzini to Acquire California Cutlery Sharpening Firm Diamond Sharp.

Midwest, US-based cutlery sharpening and exchange services company Cozzini Bros., Inc is acquiring Western US-based cutlery sharpening and exchange services company Diamond Sharp Services, Inc., the company said.

The joint company will operate under the Cozzini Bros. name.

Diamond Sharp, based in Brea, California, was founded in 1987.

The company provides cutlery sharpening and rental services for approximately 9,000 customers, primarily in the Western US Diamond Sharp operates three sharpening centers in the State of California and another in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Diamond Sharp is family owned and operated by two second generation brothers-in-law: Cliff Wallman, CEO, and Bryan Hampton, who oversees the company's extensive operations in San Diego. Wallman, Hampton and the approximately 100-person strong Diamond Sharp team will continue with the merged company.
