Databricks to Acquire Arcion in Deal Valued at USD 100m.

US-based data and AI company Databricks has agreed to acquire California-based data replication technology provider Arcion, to simplify and accelerate ingesting data from enterprise databases to the Databricks Lakehouse platform, the company said.
The transaction is valued at over USD 100m, inclusive of incentives.
This will enable Databricks to provide native solutions to ingest data from various databases and SaaS applications into the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
This acquisition will enable Databricks to provide a scalable, easy-to-use, and cost-effective solution to ingest data from various enterprise data sources.
