US-based coatings company PPG (NYSE: PPG) has reached a definitive agreement to acquire US-based specialised automotive refinish products manufacturer SEM Products, Inc., the company said.
The transaction is expected to close in 4Q18, subject to customary closing conditions. Financial terms were not disclosed. SEM, headquartered in Rock Hill, South Carolina, is a manufacturer of repair and refinish products used primarily for automotive and other transportation applications.
