LENTEN WALKS Next Lenten walk tomorrow (Saturday) meeting at Gartmore Church at 10am. Following the walk, tea and coffee available at the Black Bull Hotel, cost approximately £2.50. The last in the series next Saturday April 8 will meet in Stirling University Community Garden car park and walk to Labyrinth. Following the walk coffee available in Stirling Court Hotel. FIX AND CHAT Tuesdays 2-4pm in Aberfoyle Memorial Hall - if you have small household items which are broken hopefully the collective skill of the group can help repair or give advice to avoid throwing it into landfill. KNIT AND NATTER Fridays 2-4pm in Aberfoyle Memorial Hall - get out and about, kids welcome to pop in with parents after school, cuppa and snacks available.

FILM SOCIETY Strathendrick Film Society is showing '1917' in Balfron High School today (Friday) at 7.30pm. This wonderful Sam Mendes film earned five star reviews from critics and takes the audience on a relentless, unmissable and immersive experience, a pure adrenaline hit based on a true story inspired by his grandfather's experience. A tale of heroism, friendship and sacrifice. Join us to enjoy the film on the big screen, bring friends along too to enjoy Easter egg treats and choose some free DVDs. BUCHLYVIE CHURCH

BUCHLYVIE Blether in Church Session Room today (Friday) at 12.30pm. Soup, rolls, something sweet, tea or coffee. All villagers invited. On Sunday, April 2 (Palm Sunday) service at 11.15am led by Rev Scott Brown, Cafe Church held at 4pm. On April 5, Wednesday Group meet in the Session Room at 10.30am. Maundy Service on Thursday April 6 is a Communion Service at Gartmore Church at 7pm. Good Friday Service on April 7 at 7pm at Buchlyvie Church. Easter Sunday April 9 starts with an open air service in Gartmore at 9am followed by bacon rolls (please order in advance at your Church) at the Black Bull. At 11.15am service at Buchlyvie Church led by Rev Scott Brown. Thanks are extended to everyone who contributed in any way to the successful Daffodil Tea last Saturday, the final total reached has not been finalised.
