The District Probate Registries (Amendment) Order 1981

The President of the Family Division, with the concurrence of the Lord Chancellor and the Treasury, and in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 108(3) of the Supreme Court of Judicature (Consolidation) Act 1925 (a), hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the District Probate Registries (Amendment) Order 1981 and shall come into operation on 3rd August 1981.

2. In the scheme for the establishment of district probate registries in the Second Schedule to the Supreme Court of Judicature (Consolidation) Act 1925, now contained in the District Probate Registries Order 1968 (b), the references to Nottingham and Sheffield shall be omitted.
