Eaton to Acquire Tripp Lite for USD 1.65bn.

US power management company Eaton (NYSE: ETN) has agreed to acquire Chicago-based connectivity solutions provider Tripp Lite for USD 1.65bn, the company said.
The transaction represents approximately 12 times Tripp Lite's 2020 EBITDA and 11 times estimated 2021 EBITDA.
The acquisition of Tripp Lite will enhance Eaton's computing and distributed IT product portfolio and expand single-phase UPS business.
