The European Central Bank (ECB) is said to be considering ways to prevent banks from profiting from a subsidised lending programme it launched during the pandemic.
Europe's central bank had provided EUR2.2tn of subsidised loans to banks during the COVID-19 crisis to avoid a credit crunch. Banks are expected to profit once the apex bank raises interest rates later...
