Emerald Acquires Cannabis-Focussed Event Producer MJBiz for USD 120m.

California-based business-to-business trade show company Emerald Holding, Inc. (NYSE: EEX) has completed the acquisition of Colorado-based cannabis-focussed event producer MJBiz, to diversify into the cannabis industry, the company said.
Emerald paid USD 120m as initial consideration upon closing of the transaction, with potential future payments contingent on the performance of MJBiz through 2022.
