He has been fairly consistent in big two-mile handicaps, finishing fourth in last season's Red Rum and his two thirdplace finishes this season look decent efforts behind wellhandicapped types.

He is particularly interesting now tried on heavy ground - he was beaten on it once, but his best form in France is on very soft - so he is well worth a second chance.

Furthermore, there looks like there should be plenty of early pace, and as a strong traveller at the trip that could play into his hands.

She's finished second twice on her latest two starts, and her most recent run at Doncaster was a highly encouraging effort as the front two finished miles ahead of the rest and the horse that beat her - Brief Times - looks useful.

She was getting a lot of weight that day, but an opening mark of 106 is interesting and she can likely prove better.
