They've already got the league title in the bag and that was the one they really wanted, but they wanted to add another trophy before the end of the season.

Last week, John Kennedy claimed Celtic are still the best team in Scotland but Steven Gerrard wasn't having it and insisted the reality and truth is Rangers are champions.

With the Ibrox side 20 points clear of their rivals, he's focused on getting into the next round of the tournament, but has spoken about being the 'proudest man' in the world when they lift the Premiership trophy.

Everyone is entitled to their own view and their own opinion. That's why there's so many platforms to give people that chance to give that opinion.

I don't really focus on anyone outside Rangers in terms of their views and opinions. I just focus on what is happening in here.

On May 15, we'll lift our 55th title as a club and I'll be one of the proudest men on the planet.

Where that sits right now, we're 20 points clear with four games to play with the chance to go unbeaten so I don't need to listen to anyone outside of Rangers to get a view on that.

I know the reality is, I know the truth and it's a day we're looking forward to as a club.

Anyone's view on the outside is not really important.

Can we expect Alfredo Morelos to have the bit between his teeth this weekend?

He'll definitely have the bit between his teeth. That goes without saying.

Anyone know knows Alfredo and having working with him close, that's one thing you can never judge him on. When he puts a kit on and crosses the white line he's always game. He's always up for it.

He always gives it his best. It was big for him from a personal point of view to get that goal because a lot of people were speaking about that.

He's got the belief and confidence from myself, the players and the staff. We know what he can do.

If he's selected to play in a couple of days time I have no doubt he'll have the bit between his teeth and will go and put in a top performance for us. We'll see what happens in terms of team selection.

Is there another level of intensity added to this because it's a cup tie, even more than a normal Old Firm match?
