Our clown PM says: "There is no doubt in my mind that schools are safe."

Then he adds: "The threat to young people is very, very small. The risk to staff is very small."

In the next breath he refuses to rule out a full lockdown in a few weeks.

He warns tougher restrictions may be on the way and says: "Clearly school closures, which we had to do in March, is one of those things."

Covid cases are spiralling across Britain.

His mantra is that he's following the science. So why isn't he listening to his own expert?
