The 'scrap net zero' side of the argument is being pushed by the same people who told us that Brexit would produce huge benefits and no downside; who supported Liz Truss's disastrous budget that crashed the economy then massively increased mortgage costs and rents for millions; and who support the lunacy of a tiny number of immigrants being flown to Rwanda at massive cost constituting a deterrent to those who cross the Channel in small boats

These people maintain Labour's plans are unworkable, while telling us Conservative plans to extract every drop of oil and gas from the North Sea are perfectly in line with delivering Net Zero. How can we give them any credibility when they have been entirely wrong about so much already! It's laughable!
