French toast

Soak 2 slices of wholemeal bread (from a small 400g loaf) in a beaten egg. Spray a frying pan with low-calorie cooking spray and fry on both sides until golden. Drizzle over 1 level tsp honey (optional) and serve with a dollop of fat-free natural fromage frais and fresh or frozen and defrosted mixed berries.

One-pan hash

Spray a pan with low-calorie cooking spray and fry sliced red onion, pepper and mushrooms, and canned drained potatoes until golden, breaking up the potatoes with a wooden spoon so they crisp up.
