FIREARMS OF HISTORIC INTEREST

Certain handguns, which would otherwise be treated as prohibited weapons, may be held under the authority of a conditional firearm certificate or a visitor’s firearm permit1if fulfilling certain conditions. One condition is that these guns are not chambered for any of the following types of ammunition:2

.25ʺ ACP/6.35 mm
.25ʺ – 20
.32ʺ ACP/7.65 mm
.32ʺ – 20
.32ʺ Smith & Wesson Long
7.62 mm Soviet Tokarev
.38ʺ 40 Winchester
