Consent to supplement the Control Period 6 (CP6) track usage price list
(Classes 805 and 807) following a joint proposal by Network Rail
Infrastructure Limited (Network Rail) and First Trenitalia West Coast Rail
Limited (trading as Avanti West Coast (AWC))
We have today consented to supplement the CP6 track usage price list, following a joint
proposal submitted to us by the above on 27 March 2024, under paragraph 9 of Part 2 of
schedule 7 to their track access contract [TAC]. The change shall have effect from the
date on which the vehicles were first used on the network by the train operator until 31
March 2024.
Proposal
The purpose of this supplement is to amend the Passenger Variable Usage Charge (VUC)
Rates section of the CP6 Track Usage Price List to include new Classes 805 and 807
Motor (805/M and 807/M) and Trailer (805/T and 807/T) vehicle types. They have been
operating on the network since 31 July 2023.
Industry consultation
There is no requirement for industry consultation in this matter as the changes do not
affect any other train operating company.
