Getinge Acquires Healthmark Industries for USD 320m.

Sweden-based life science solutions provider Getinge has acquired 100% of the shares in Michigan-based instrument care and infection control provider Healthmark Industries Co. Inc. for approximately USD 320m, the company said.
Getinge paid approximately USD 320m, on a cash and debt free basis with a normalised working capital for 100 % of the shares in Healthmark.
This strategic step enhances Getinge's presence within sterile reprocessing in the US and facilitates a global expansion for Healthmark.
Healthmark's headquarters and main production facilities are located in Fraser, Michigan in the United States. Healthmark also has a facility in Bobigny, France.
