Switched to centre for the first time after a torrid start to his Rovers career at full-back, Hiku responded with an impressive display to leave the Giants still searching for their first home points

Joe Burgess, Jez Litten and Ryan Hall also crossed for the visitors with Litten adding two points with the boot, before Huddersfield belatedly got on the scoresheet with converted tries from Kevin Naiqama and Adam Swift.

Huddersfield's scintillating performance in putting 50 past Castleford last week proved a distant memory as a series of errors handed the visitors an early lead that they never looked likely to relinquish.

It took just four minutes for the visitors to open the scoring.

Sam Halsall fumbled an up-andunder from Mikey Lewis and from the scrum Niall Evalds, replacing Hiku at number one, fed Burgess who barged over.

Elliot Minchella jinked close for Rovers before the Giants rallied, Halsall getting close after quick handling from Naiqama, then Tyrone May making a saving tackle to deny Swift.

Litten crossed for KR's second after Halsall, again, lost the ball on his own try-line and the home pack was barged backwards where the Rovers hooker managed to flap his hand on top of the loose ball.

Huddersfield made some progress at the end of the first half but when Olly Wilson was held up and Jack Murchie lost possession on the Rovers 10, their pointless...
