He bought the legendary trio Kauto Star, Big Buck's and Master Minded and has kept finding top talent as buyer and racing manager for Simon Munir and Isaac Souede's powerful team

The 'double green', as they are known, enjoyed two victories at last year's Festival and could have up to 10 runners this week, headed by El Fabiolo.

And victory for the odds-on favourite in the Queen Mother Champion Chase would bring up a notable landmark for Bromley and his partners in Highflyer Bloodstock, David Minton and Tessa Greatrex, who are on the 99 Festival winner mark since their 2000 formation.

"El Fabiolo would be our hottest horse for the week," says Bromley. " He's done little wrong this season. He still hasn't had many career starts so the world is still his oyster."

The support act includes Mistergif (Supreme), Hunters Yarn (Arkle), Zarak The Brave (Champion), Batman Girac (Boodles), Jasmin De Vaux (Bumper), and Readin Tommy Wrong (Albert Bartlett). "I bought all those horses," says Bromley. "Jasmin De Vaux was an impressive winner of his point-to-point and bumper and Hunters Yarn would have a bit of a squeak.

"We could run more but we are being selective. Quite a few nice ones are being kept for other targets at Aintree and Fairyhouse.

Bromley, 55, had an early introduction to Festival glory when Mysliv won the Triumph Hurdle for the Million In Mind Partnership in 1994.

His business success took a huge leap forward In the noughties when he began to mine a rich seam of equine nuggets in France.

"Around 2007-09 we probably had 10 winners at each Festival," he said.
