Fresh from winning the Masters for the second time in three years last week, Scheffler's domination of the PGA Tour continued at Harbour Town

The world No.1 returned to the South Carolina course yesterday holding a five-stroke lead with three holes to play after a storm halted play early on Sunday.

He dropped a shot at the last but finished on 20 under to complete a four-shot win, his fourth in five starts.

It meant he became the first player on the PGA Tour since Tiger Woods in 2006 to follow up a Major championship victory with a win a week later.

And the last man to win the week following the Masters was Bernhard Langer, who, in 1986, followed his Green Jacket triumph with the Volvo PGA

Championship. Scheffler (right) has now trousered £15m this season - more than double the next highest earner, Wyndham Clark.
