GTT Communications, Inc. (NYSE: GTT), the global cloud networking provider to multinational clients, has announced that it will nominate Benjamin Stein for election to the company's board of directors at its 2019 annual meeting, the company said.

Stein is co-founder and managing partner of The Spruce House Partnership ("Spruce House"), a New York-based investment partnership. Spruce House is currently the beneficial owner of approximately 22% of GTT's outstanding common stock.

Stein also serves on the boards of Colliers International, one of the largest commercial real estate services companies in the world, and The Africa Center, a New-York based institution focused on African business, culture and policy. Stein holds a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
