I wonder if this bumbling, ineffective and, for me, failure as a Prime Minister is fit to say: "As night follows day we will beat back this new virus and reclaim our lives."
Also, where do his equally faceless cabinet cronies stand in this latest catastrophic U-turn?
Health Secretary Matt Hancock is not worthy of the name as he failed to anticipate the virus, failed to stock up on PPE and embraced a test and trace system which largely failed despite grandiose promises about its likely performance, etc.
