Hershey Closes USD 1.2bn Acquisition of Dot's Pretzels and Pretzels.

US-based snacks company The Hershey Company (NYSE: HSY) has closed its acquisition of US-based pretzel manufacturer Dot's Pretzels, the owner of Dot's Homestyle Pretzels, and Pretzels Inc., the company said.
The combined purchase price was USD 1.2bn, or approximately USD 1bn of investment net of expected future tax benefits, as previously announced.
Acquiring Pretzels Inc. also brings the pretzel manufacturing capability in-house to ensure the continued growth of Dot's and expertise to drive future snacking innovations.
