Scentwork
SCENTWORK is a mentally engaging activity for dogs which lets them exercise and fine tune their sense of smell by teaching how to search for specific scents. It's a wonderful way to work with your dog, build trust and learn to understand each other better.
All breed types, ages and abilities can get involved and it's particularly great for dogs with physical challenges such as deafness, arthritis or post-surgery recovery.
Your dog doesn't need any pre-taught skills before starting and you don't need lots of expensive equipment, so you can get started right away.

Directions:
Tip 10-12 clove buds into one of the jars with 8-10 velcro pads, close the lid and leave for 2 days.
Remove one of the Velcro pads and stick to the underside lid of the second jar. Place some treats into the jar and fasten the lid.
Leave in the jar for 2-3 hours so that the clove scent fuses with the treats.
Hide 5-6 treats in a room and ask your dog to "find it". They'll now positively associate the scent of cloves with a reward.
