ISSA Acquires Empowered Education to Strengthen Position in Health & Wellness Industry.

US-based personal training certification organisation International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) has acquired US-based functional nutrition, health coaching provider Empowered Education, the parent company of Health Coaching Institute and Functional Nutrition Alliance, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Building upon last year's acquisition of the Functional Aging Institute and recent programme launches at ISSA and premier Yoga Alliance approved 200-hour Yoga certification course, ISSA remains focussed on expanding its reach to businesses, professionals and individuals across the fitness, wellness and health continuum.
