Koch Engineered Solutions Acquires DarkVision to Enhance Industrial Operations in Non-Destructive Testing Market.

Kansas, US-based Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) has acquired a majority stake in Canada-based DarkVision Technologies Inc., a provider of acoustic imaging technology, to enhance industrial operations, the company said.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

In conjunction with the acquisition, KES has made a growth equity investment in DarkVision to fund future growth, R and D and expansion.

The acquisition of DarkVision helps lay the foundation for an advanced asset integrity platform within KES.

DarkVision's acoustic imaging technology and associated hardware and software are poised to transform the way ultrasonic non-destructive testing is performed will complement KES's existing capabilities in sensors and data analytics.
