LBMX Acquires Buying Group Services to Enhance Expertise in Managed Services.

Canada-based business marketplace experience provider LBMX Inc. has acquired Ontario-based Buying Group Services, specialising in the formation, development, and operation of buying groups, the company said.

LBMX acquired Buying Group in an all-shares transaction. Additional terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

This acquisition brings together two firms focussed on helping independent businesses prosper in a business environment. LBMX is a technology provider focussed on buying groups, GPO's and purchasing coops, and BGS provides managed services to similar organisations.

This arrangement will make it possible for LBMX to grow its expertise in managed services and offer additional solutions to group customers.
