Lineage Logistics to Acquire Grupo Fuentes to Expand Footprint in Europe.

Michigan, US-based industrial REIT and logistics solutions provider Lineage Logistics intends to acquire Spain-based Grupo Fuentes, an operator of transport and cold storage facilities, to expand road transportation network across Europe, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Grupo Fuentes operates a fleet of over 500 vehicles and trailers, 6 logistics centres, a cold storage warehouse, and services supporting those facilities.
It is also a founding member of Reefer Terminal, a strategic partnership to create an intermodal transportation platform combining road and rail cold-storage transport services.
The intended acquisition will strengthen Lineage's footprint for cold-storage distribution across the main markets in South and Western Europe.
Grupo Fuentes has offices in Galicia, Madrid, Navarra, Valencia, and the Netherlands.
