-LOGITECH TO ACQUIRE CONSOLE GAMING HEADSET PRODUCER ASTRO FOR USD 85M IN CASH

Swiss PC and tablet accessories company Logitech International (SIX: LOGN) (NASDAQ: LOGI) has agreed to acquire US-based console gaming brand Astro Gaming, the company said. Astro Gaming produces headsets for professional gamers and enthusiasts.

Logitech and Astro, together, is the number one maker of headsets, mice, keyboards and streaming webcams for PC and console gamers. Astro, is a pioneer in gaming audio and lifestyle products and has a strong leadership position in the premium end of the global console gaming headset market. It is best known for its A40 and A50 headsets designed for pro gamers and core enthusiasts.

-VERSUM MATERIALS TO BUY SPECIALTY CLEANING SOLUTIONS SUPPLIER DYNALOY

US-based semiconductor industry supplier Versum Materials, Inc. (NYSE: VSM) has agreed to acquire US-based cleaning solutions supplier Dynaloy, LLC from Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE: EMN) for approximately USD 13m, the company said. Dynaloy is a leading supplier of formulated cleaning solutions for the semiconductor and specialty manufacturing industries.

Versum Materials' SP andC technologies are used to selectively etch and remove residue and contamination during multiple steps of the integrated circuit fabrication process. After closing, Dynaloy's business will be integrated into Versum's portfolio of SP andC formulated product offerings and will strengthen and accelerate its growth in Advanced Packaging, one of the fastest growth segments in the cleans market.

-HCA TO ACQUIRE TEXAS HOSPITAL FROM COMMUNITY HEALTH SYSTEMS

US-based hospital operator HCA Healthcare (NYSE: HCA) has inked an agreement to acquire Weatherford Regional Medical Center outside Fort Worth, Texas, from subsidiaries of Community Health Systems, Inc., the company said.

Upon completion of the transaction, Weatherford Regional Medical Center, a 103-bed hospital about 30 miles west of Fort Worth, would become part of HCA's Medical City Healthcare in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. With 13 hospitals, more than 7,000 active physicians and 14,000 employees in Dallas-Fort Worth, HCA's Medical City Healthcare is one of the North Texas region's largest health care provider networks.

-WELLS FARGO TO SELL UK SHARE REGISTRATION BUSINESS FOR USD 227M

US-based financial services firm Wells Fargo and Co (NYSE: WFC) has entered into an agreement to sell its UK-based Shareowner Services business to UK-based investment services company Equiniti Group plc (LSE: EQN) for USD 227m, the firm said.

Equiniti Group is the provider of share registration and associated investor services in the United Kingdom. Pending regulatory and Equiniti shareholder approvals, and the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, the transaction is expected to close by the end of 1Q18. Wells Fargo Shareowner Services, a division of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., provides shareowner services in the US, including stock transfer agent, corporate action, and investment plan services to more than 1200 public and private companies across the US.

-PERNOD RICARD SELLS THE GLENALLACHIE DISTILLERY IN SCOTLAND

French spirits and wine company Pernod Ricard (PAR: RI) has signed an agreement with Billy Walker, Graham Stevenson and Trisha Savage, comprising The Glenallachie Consortium, for the sale of the Glenallachie Distillery in Scotland, the company said.

The transaction also includes the Glenallachie single malt brand, MacNair's and White Heather blended scotch brands, and relevant inventories to support future development of those brands. Pernod Ricard said the disposal is in line with the group's strategy to focus on its priority spirits and wines brands and to adjust its industrial footprint to its needs. Closing of the transaction is subject to customary conditions and is expected to take place before the end of 2017.

-CIVITAS SOCIAL HOUSING ACQUIRES UK SUPPORTED LIVING PORTFOLIO FOR GBP 4.5M

UK-based real estate investment trust Civitas Social Housing plc (LSE: CSH) has completed the purchase of a portfolio of regulated UK social housing for a total consideration of GBP 4.5m (USD 5.82m), the company said. This portfolio comprises the freehold interest in four supported living properties, with 27 tenancies, in North West England.

The portfolio is immediately income generating with an initial net yield in line with the company's expectations and was sourced off-market by Civitas Housing Advisors Ltd., the company's investment manager.All properties within the portfolio are subject to a 25-year lease with a specialist Housing Association - Trinity Housing Association -- focused around supported living, with rents established by the relevant local authority and adjusted annually by inflation over the full period.

-FLOWTECH FLUIDPOWER ACQUIRES UK FLUID HANDLING PRODUCTS SUPPLIER ORANGE COUNTY

UK-based technical fluid power products supplier Flowtech Fluidpower plc (AIM: FLO) has acquired UK-based liquid storage and movement products supplier Orange County Ltd., the company said. OCL is a supplier and distributor of products for the storage and movement of fuels, liquids and gases.
