1994 East 17: Made up of Brian Harvey, John Hendy, Tony Mortimer and Terry Coldwell, the group's single Stay Another Day kept Mariah Carey from the number one slot in the UK in 1994 with All I Want For Christmas Is You. 1999 Westlife: Managed by Louis Walsh, they formed in 1998, with (L to R) Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Brian McFadden, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan enjoying success with songs like Flying Without Wings and You Raise Me Up. They released a cover version of Billy Joel's Uptown Girl for Comic Relief in 2001.

New Kids On The Block: The American boy band: (L to R) Danny Wood, Joe McIntyre, Donie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight and Jon Knight, formed in April 1984 and will be celebrating their 40th anniversary with concert dates in the States as part of The Magic Summer Tour. They were the kings of cool in the 1980s and 1990s and, back then, Donnie was the most famous Wahlberg brother (not actor Mark!). Hits included I'll Be Loving You (Forever) Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time) Hangin' Tough and You Got It (The Right Stuff).
