Mekitec Acquires Grupo Bimbo's AI-Focussed Subsidiary to Enhance X-ray Inspection Capabilities.

Finland-based food quality control system manufacturer Mekitec Group has acquired Kanan Smart Solution, a subsidiary of Mexico-based baking company Grupo to boost X-ray inspection capabilities, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
This solidifies Mekitec's place among a leaders of X-ray inspection systems for baking companies and boosts the company's market position throughout Latin America.
