Metronet, the nation's largest independently owned, 100 percent fiber optic provider, has announced its future-proof 100 percent fiber optic Internet has been ranked the fastest Internet service provider (ISP) in Kentucky, the company said.

According to recently released data from Ookla[R] Speedtest Intelligence[R], Metronet ranked as "Fastest Internet Service Provider in Kentucky" with a median download speed of 205.87 megabits per second (Mbps) for Q2 2022. With Metronet's symmetrical upload and download speeds, Metronet customers experience upload speeds that are the exact same as the ultra-high-speed download speed they receive directly to their home or business.
