JURGEN KLOPP'S on a mission to get Mo Salah fit and firing for Sunday's Premier League showdown with Manchester City.

And the Liverpool boss intends to ease Salah back into the big time by giving him some minutes tonight.

Salah has travelled with the Reds squad for the Europa League last-16 tie with Sparta Prague.

The Egypt striker has played just 45 minutes - in a 4-1 win over Brentford last month - since picking up a hamstring injury at the

Africa Cup of Nations. But Klopp is eager to get his star man back for the title race blockbuster.

If all goes well, he could then face arch rivals Manchester United next weekend in the FA Cup. He said: "Mo Salah has travelled. He is with us and has trained two days, he is full of energy, we have to see.

"But it is so good that he is back.

"We want to be careful, we have to be careful.

"But we're in the middle of a super intense period of the season and we need everyone .

"So let's see how long we can use him. Yes, it's just good news."
