Cookie Sandwiches

A delicious healthy cookie that looks just as good as it tastes!

Ingredients:For the cookies:

250g wholewheat flour

80g polenta

100ml stock (low salt)

1/2 tin of Edgard & Cooper dog foodFor the filling:

1 x cup of Edgard & Cooper dog food

1 bananaFor the topping:

Desiccated coconutDirections:

Preheat the oven to 180C.

Mix all the cookie ingredients into a dough, adding the flour gradually so the mixture doesn't become too dry.

Roll out the dough to half an inch think and cut out the biscuits with a cookie cutter.

Place them on to a non-stick baking tray and bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool.

Place the wet food and banana in a bowl and mash with a fork.

Take a biscuit, spread on some of the filling and sandwich together with another biscuit.

Then roll one side of the biscuit sandwich through the desiccated coconut and let them tuck in!

Sweet Potato Balls These healthy, low-fat balls make a fantastic treat after a long walk.

Ingredients:

1 cup cooked and mashed sweet potato

1/2 cup coconut flour

1 tsp melted coconut oil

1/4 tsp cinnamonDirections:

Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl and mix well.

Roll a dessert spoon of the mixture into small balls in your hands.

Place in the fridge for an hour or so until set and then let them enjoy!
