National Health Service (Vocational Training) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1982

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 21 and 22 of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978(a) and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I hereby make the following regulations:—

Citation and commencement

1. These regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Vocational Training) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1982 and shall come into operation on 7th July 1982.

Amendment to regulations

2. In regulation 5(5)(a)(i) of the National Health Service (Vocational Training) (Scotland) Regulations 1980(b) for the words "16th January 1981" there shall be substituted the words "26th May 1982".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This Note is not part of the Regulations.)

These regulations further amend the definition of "educationally approved post" in Regulation 5(5)(a)(i) of the National Health Service (Vocational Training) (Scotland) Regulations 1980.

In terms of that regulation such a post is defined as being a post in a hospital or with a Health Board in Scotland employment in which was, immediately before the day specified in Regulation 5(5)(a)(i), approved by the Post-graduate Medical Education Committee for the purposes of training...
