New radio technology saves time, money and avoids trenching.

Sure-Fi has developed the world's first radio with Superman-like qualities to "leap" signals through tall buildings of metal, brick, concrete and anything else preventing typical signals from getting through, the company said.

This patented technology can be installed in minutes and is being used in construction, mining, factories and congested areas like apartment complexes and stadiums.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals can only go about 300 feet and are often slowed down, interrupted or blocked in congested areas. Worse yet, trends in technology are pushing developers to ever higher bandwidths and radio frequencies, which have less ability to penetrate obstructions. These signals sometimes have little or no security and can be vulnerable to attacks.

Sure-Fi signals can travel one mile through obstructions or more than 50 miles line-of-sight by using patented radio technology based on Chirp Modulation. Chirp is a component of a radio signal where the actual signal increases and decreases in frequency, creating a pulse or chirp. These chirps contain the transmitted data.

This method helps the signal be easily distinguished from noise, which can be critical in extremely noisy environments. The Sure-Fi signal is thousands of times more robust than Bluetooth or other commonly used technologies. This technology also makes the signal practically impossible to intercept. By incorporating a military-grade cryptographic algorithm along with other proprietary obscuring techniques, the Sure-Fi radio is more...
