Not on my last leg yet after test

This is the result of a global study that says failing to be able to last 10 seconds doubles a person's mortality risk. But complete the time and look forward to a happy 2032 and an active old age

I seem to recall this same theory was promoted some years ago, because I tested it out on my early morning walk with the dog. Standing on one leg appealed to me because it is the natural at-ease position of Masai warriors, although probably not a lot of people know that. I met a few when I was in Africa in another lifetime.

They were a warrior people whose young men had to kill a lion to prove their coming of age when they were 14.

I didn't attempt the lion challenge but I did stand on one leg in a field in Honley with the sort of success that hinted I would be striding out for years into the future.
