Following

sudden death of
Superintendent

Milner in December,
1970, Superintendent Woods
has
been
appointed as
the
new
chief of the Victoria
C.I.B.
R. Kyte-Powell: It is a pleasure to record
the promotion of Kyte-Powell from Ser-
geant to
Inspector
and
the
fact
that
he
remains as head of
the
Victoria Police
drug bureau.
Mr.
Walter
Nicholas Williams: Mr. Wil-
liams, a
former
policeman in
the
Victoria
Police Force,
has
been reported as being
appointed to
the
post
of head of
the
Com-
monwealth Police crime intelligence sec-
tion. This
was
a
post
previously held by
Superintendent K. L. MUte, who resigned
last
year
and
is
now
working as a
barrister
in Melbourne.
