Nothing has changed after Saudi takeover

Certainly there has not been the dramatic improvement in human rights in Saudi Arabia, that some hoped for when the takeover took place. Last year saw a death sentence passed on teacher Mohamnad bin-Nasser al-Ghamdi, for simply criticising the regime on Twitter and YouTube

Also, we have seen a young woman Salma al-Shehab sentenced to 27 years in prison, for retweeting support for women's rights on Twitter/X and another sentence of 45 years handed out to Nourah al-Qhatani for criticising the regime on social media.

There are, of course, many other innocent people suffering injustice in Saudi Arabia.
