Oracle Closes USD 28.3bn Acquisition of Health Information and EHR Technologies Provider Cerner.

US-based computer technology company Oracle Corp. (NYSE: ORCL) has closed the acquisition of US-based IT services, devices and hardware supplier Cerner Corp. (NASDAQ: CERN) through an all-cash tender offer for USD 95.00 per share, or approximately USD 28.3bn in equity value, the company said.

Cerner is a provider of digital information systems used within hospitals and health systems to enable medical professionals to deliver better healthcare to individual patients and communities.

All-cash tender offer for USD 95.00 per share, or approximately USD 28.3bn, that is immediately accretive to Oracle's earnings.

Accretive to Oracle's earnings on a non-GAAP basis in the first full fiscal year after closing and will contribute substantially more to earnings in the second fiscal year and thereafter.

Cerner will be a huge additional revenue growth engine for Oracle for years to come as Oracle expands Cerner's business into many more countries throughout the world.
