Outward Hound Acquires Planet Dog Made in USA Dog Toy Platform.

18 October 2018 - US-based pet toys, games, gear and feeders producer Outward Hound has acquired dog toy producer Planet Dog, the company said.
Outward Hound is a portfolio company of J.W. Childs Associates, L.P.
Since 1997, Planet Dog has been known as a Made in USA pet company made for dogs by dog lovers.
Their line of Orbee durable toys, plush and travel products further expands the Outward Hound portfolio offering the best branded products all from one vendor.
This is the third acquisition for Outward Hound since being acquired by J.W. Childs Associates in December 2017.
Outward Hound is a J.W. Childs Associates Portfolio company that is a creator, manufacturer and distributor of toys, games, gear and feeders for dogs and cats.
