P.C. BRIAN BISHOP FUND
The Chairman of Essex County Council, Mr. Ron Williams, has launched a
fund for the widow and family of
P.e.
Brian Bishop who died on August 27
from gunshot wounds received in an incident at Frinton.
Calling for public support for his appeal, Mr. Williams said "The death of
P.e.
Bishop is yet another example of the devotion to duty of
our
police. I
hope people will take this opportunity to show their gratitude and
acknowledge how deeply they appreciate what the police do each day on
their behalf'.
Donations can be made in cash or by cheque to any Essex Police Station;
County Hall, Chelmsford; or any branch of Barclays Bank (Account number
