Platinum Equity to Acquire Majority Share in Cook & Boardman From Littlejohn.

US-based investment firm Platinum Equity has agreed to acquire a majority interest in North Carolina-based commercial door and security integration solutions provider The Cook & Boardman Group from Connecticut-based investment firm Littlejohn & Co., LLC, the company said.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Littlejohn will remain a significant minority shareholder.
Cook & Boardman is a leading speciality distributor of commercial door and security integration solutions.
The company offers a range of products including metal and wood doors, locks, doorframes, and other related building components for non-residential applications.
It operates a network of more than 70 locations across 21 states, and services its customers nationwide.
