PM dad to turn French

On the eve of Britain's departure from the EU, the PM's dad told French radio station RTL of his decision.

Speaking in French, he said: "I am French - my mother was born in France, her mother was totally French, as was her grandfather.

"So for me it is about reclaiming what I already have. And that makes me very happy."

The former MEP voted Remain in the 2016 referendum, despite Boris being the public face of the Leave campaign.
