The Argentine boss (left) plans to sit down with the Blues' hierarchy in the coming weeks to discuss the club's summer transfer policy

It comes after Pochettino criticised his "immature" squad for their recent late collapse in the 2-2 draw at Sheffield United. Pochettino, players tonight against Everton, said: "We need to bring more young players, we need to bring in some experienced players.

"We need to assess why players were injured, the risk to suffer injuries in the future and the history of injuries within the club."

Youthful summer signing Cole Palmer (inset) has been Chelsea's standout player and Pochettino confessed that he must be "careful with his words" after his cut-throat assessment of his fresh-faced squad.

He admitted he cannot underestimate the impact injuries have had upon its development.
