The French-born trainer, based at Coombelands Stables in Pulborough, West Sussex, had 13 winners in Britain in 2023, but it was in his native country where his quality excelled in one stunning October week

Sunway provided Menuisier with a fourth Group 1 triumph in

the Criterium International, while there was also Group-race success for Tamfana in the Prix Miesque and a brilliant Listed victory in the Prix Isonomy with War Chimes.

They head a strong three-year-old line-up for Menuisier, while Caius Chorister, who also plundered a Group 3 during the trainer's awesome autumn, is back for more and heads an older division filled with female power.

Among those is the well-regarded Heartache Tonight, a halfsister to Menuisier's star Wonderful Tonight, who could progress

Menuisier talks Weekender readers through the pick of his team, highlighting the names worth keeping an eye on.
