The Highland title race looks set to go right to the death - and be settled on goals for and against

Brechin ran out 6-1 winners over visiting Forres - as Buckie recorded the same scoreline at home to Deveronvale.

If, as expected, the Angus club win their last two games and the Jags win their last three, the two sides will tie at the top on 81 points.

But Brechin stay nine goals to the good on Buckie, who bid to bridge that gap with two thumping wins within 72 hours over bottom side Strathspey, home and away, today and Wednesday.

Saturday could see the title outcome on a knife edge as Buckie host Keith and Brechin, after a midweek visit to Keith, finish away to a powerful Brora Rangers side.

Price said: "When you start thinking about goals and goal difference it can distract you from controlling a game.

"You've got to win the game, first and foremost, and get the balance right. We had to make sure we went about our business in the right way.
